Toyota ex-chief Okuda, pioneer of the Prius, dead at 93

Hiroshi Okuda, the former Toyota chairman and president credited as a driving force behind the Prius, has died at ninety-three, Channel NewsAsia reports. The Prius, launched in the late nineteen-nineties, became one of the world's first mass-produced hybrid cars.
