Houthi attack kills six in first fatalities in Red Sea in over a year; U.S. strikes container ship

Six people have died in a Houthi attack in the Red Sea, the first fatalities there in more than a year, CNBC reports. A cargo ship and a container ship were struck in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Oman, and the U.S. responded by striking a container ship of its own. The attacks add another hit to shipping lanes already strained by the wider conflict.
