The Straits Times reports that Venezuelan authorities are pursuing the recovery of an estimated four billion dollars in gold reserves held by the Bank of England. National Assembly chief Jorge Rodriguez says the effort is part of reconstruction plans, as monthly inflation surges to twenty percent.
