US ambassador to Israel slams settler siege against West Bank Palestinians as ‘terror’

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has condemned a siege by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank village of Qusra, calling it a horrific act of terror. Huckabee, an evangelical pastor who has previously backed Israeli settlements in the occupied territory, said the Israeli army moved in on Wednesday at Washington's request but that soldiers failed to remove the settlers, France 24 reports.
