JD Vance claims US holds all the cards in Iran and will win ‘either way’
politics
Vice President JD Vance told Bill Maher on Friday that the United States holds a winning hand in its standoff with Iran, regardless of how negotiations unfold. According to The Guardian, Vance claimed the US comes out ahead no matter what — citing damage to Iran's nuclear program and the country's weakened international position. 'If we make the final deal, then great,' Vance said on HBO's Real Time. 'If we don't make the final deal, their nuclear program is still destroyed. They're still much weaker as a country, so my attitude is America wins either way.' The comments came just hours before fresh military exchanges erupted in the Strait of Hormuz.
