A devastating pair of earthquakes has left Venezuela in crisis. According to the country's National Assembly president, the death toll now stands at one thousand, four hundred thirty people. More than three thousand others were injured, and nearly three thousand, one hundred are now homeless. The search for survivors continues, with close to seventy thousand people still reported missing by their families, according to reporting from The Guardian World.
