Rocket Lab advances via series of announcements

Rocket Lab is expanding on multiple fronts. The aerospace company formally established a German subsidiary in Munich this week, building on its twenty twenty-five acquisition of laser-communications manufacturer Mynaric, to serve European customers without relying solely on U.S. or New Zealand facilities. NASASpaceflight reports that Rocket Lab also unveiled GHOST, a containerized mobile launch system designed to establish a functional launch pad for its Electron rocket almost anywhere on short notice—with applications for defense and national security operations. On the larger Neutron rocket, all nine engines required for its maiden flight are now in production after more than four hundred hot-fire tests confirmed durability and control. The complete vehicle is on track to reach the launch pad by the end of this year.
