Thousands of evacuees await aid after deadly quake on Indonesia's Flores island

A powerful magnitude seven point seven earthquake struck Indonesia's Flores island, killing forty-eight people and injuring dozens more, France 24 reports. Around five thousand residents fled their homes as the quake damaged hundreds of houses and buildings and knocked out power and phone service in some areas. Aid began reaching evacuees on Sunday.
