The Democratic Republic of the Congo's Ebola outbreak has become the deadliest in the country's history, with at least two thousand three hundred twenty-five deaths, the Guardian reports, citing official government data. That toll surpasses the previous record set by the 2018-to-2020 outbreak. The country's public health institute says confirmed cases have climbed to four thousand nine hundred forty-five, including one hundred one detected in just the past twenty-four hours.
