NASA is advancing Artemis on multiple fronts, outpacing timelines toward crewed Moon missions. Technicians at Kennedy Space Center recently joined the Orion crew and service modules, the spacecraft designed to carry astronauts to the lunar surface. NASA reports the agency is now ahead of its original integration schedule while simultaneously developing Moon Base infrastructure near the South Pole and establishing commercial partnerships—including agreements with Blue Origin and other providers—to build out transportation and support systems for sustained lunar operations.
