Per Phys.org, a new review of the Karoo Supergroup in South Africa brings together more than two decades of research on ancient extinctions and climate changes. The review, led by professor Emese Bordy at the University of Cape Town, illuminates how scientific understanding of this geological archive — which spans one hundred twenty million years — has evolved since the year two thousand.
