Israel’s government formally recognises the Armenian genocide committed during World War I

According to Euronews, Israel's government has unanimously approved recognition of the Armenian genocide of World War One. Foreign Minister Gideon Saar championed the proposal, which represents a historic diplomatic shift, though parliamentary ratification is still required for the measure to become official.
