Search launched after sailboat found adrift off French island

A search is under way off a French island after a passenger on a Brittany Ferries vessel sailing from Portsmouth to Bilbao spotted a yacht adrift and apparently in distress. France 24 reports the alert was raised Monday evening, and it's not yet known whether anyone was aboard.
