Peacock raises prices by 18 percent after becoming profitable

Peacock has raised its subscription prices for the fourth time in four years, Ars Technica reports. The budget-friendly Select plan jumped to nine dollars a month from eight, the ad-supported Premium plan climbed to thirteen dollars from eleven, and the ad-free Premium Plus plan moved to twenty dollars from seventeen. The streaming service, owned by NBCUniversal, previously increased prices in July twenty twenty-five, July twenty twenty-four, and August twenty twenty-three. The company announced these latest increases as it reached profitability.
