Moscow says Britain will ‘have to answer’ for the UK-made drones hitting Russian refineries

world

The Russian Embassy in London is warning that the UK will 'have to answer' after reports emerged that British-made drones struck deep inside Russian territory, including oil refineries. Per Meduza, The Sunday Times first reported the story, saying Ukraine had received two types of UK drones, with ranges of roughly 150 and 600 miles, as part of a 500 million pound aid package announced in April. Britain's Defense Ministry responded that it stands 'shoulder to shoulder' with Ukraine and remains committed to helping the country defend itself. Russia has issued similar warnings before over British weapons shipments, without specifying what consequences it might impose.
