Digital spirituality grows, but young people still rely on family and faith leaders

According to Phys.org, a new UCLA study finds social media, music and other digital platforms are becoming popular ways for adolescents to seek comfort and explore spirituality. Yet the same research shows that many still turn to in‑person spaces such as churches and mosques, as well as to family and faith leaders, for guidance. The findings highlight a blended search for meaning that mixes online exploration with traditional community ties.
