A deadly heatwave is sweeping across Europe with record-breaking temperatures. According to the Guardian World, Germany, Czechia, Poland, and Hungary all exceeded forty degrees Celsius on Sunday, shattering their temperature records. More than one hundred ninety-one million people across Europe are facing at least thirty-five degrees Celsius, with extreme heat warnings in place across the region. The heatwave has already been linked to hundreds of deaths in western Europe and continues spreading eastward.
