People Who Live Near Glass Houses Shouldn’t Throw Shade
other
Electric Literature reports that after a vacant lot across the street sells, a man in his late thirties begins marking the soil with orange construction flags and later erects a roofless glass cube on the site. The structure unsettles Bea and her husband Foster, who are still coping with a past car crash, and Foster obsessively questions whether the transparent building hides some hidden code. As the couple watches the neighbor pace and gesture inside the glass enclosure, Foster continues to stare at the cube, still trying to make sense of its purpose.
