NASA Selects University Teams to Help Advance Aviation Research

Per NASA News, the agency has selected four university teams to push aviation research forward through its University Leadership Initiative. According to the agency, the projects will develop high‑supersonic propulsion, AI‑enabled avionics and low‑noise routes for future urban air traffic. The awards total roughly thirty million dollars and will fund multiyear work involving students, faculty and industry partners, marking the ninth round of NASA’s university outreach aimed at shaping the future of flight.
