Show HN: Check if any of the $656M in unclaimed royalties at The MLC is yours

A new self-service tool has been released to help musicians recover unclaimed mechanical royalties from The MLC, a nonprofit created by the twenty eighteen Music Modernization Act. As Hacker News reports, over six hundred fifty-six million dollars in royalties are currently sitting in a "black box" due to registration issues or missing metadata. If these funds aren't claimed, the law requires they be distributed to the largest publishers via a market share process starting in January twenty twenty-seven.
