Alleged rapist arrested after returning to Brisbane crime scene that night, police say

Queensland police have arrested a thirty-two year old man accused of attacking a woman during a morning bushwalk in the Brisbane suburb of Brookfield. As The Guardian reports, the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the woman, who is in her twenties, before fleeing on foot. Authorities say the man was apprehended after he returned to the crime scene in his vehicle later that evening. He has been charged with six counts of rape, stalking, and assault.
