A London coffee shop faces a trademark lawsuit after trying to register its slogan 'Eat Drink Work.' Mitchells & Butlers, the FTSE two-hundred-fifty company behind major brands like Toby Carvery and All Bar One, says the phrase is too similar to its existing 'Eat Drink Meet' trademark. Coffee Studio owner Tahir Mehmet claims he had no idea his three simple words would spark a legal battle with one of the UK's largest hospitality groups. The case now goes to trademark authorities to decide if 'Work' and 'Meet' are different enough to coexist.
