Trump says he views strait of Hormuz as ‘American territory’

The Guardian reports that former President Donald Trump, speaking at a rally in South Carolina, described the Strait of Hormuz as ‘an American territory’ and quipped about bombing Iran. He made the remark while campaigning for Darline Graham, who is seeking to fill the Senate seat left vacant by her late brother Lindsey Graham.
