Europe heatwave shows need to reject climate denial ‘lies’, says EU green chief

The European Commission's vice-president for climate transition, Teresa Ribera, is calling the ongoing European heatwave a dramatic warning against climate denial. According to The Guardian, Ribera criticized those who listen to fossil fuel industry interests instead of scientists, saying opposition to green policy amounts to ideologically-driven falsehoods.
