Iran security chief threatens neighbors against new U.S. economic measures

The Hindu reports that Iran’s security chief Mohsen Rezaei warned Tehran would target oil‑shipping routes outside the Strait of Hormuz if neighboring states join what he described as an economic war against Iran. Iran, a major oil producer, said any such neighbours would be considered enemies. He added that their interests would be targeted.
