ESA to seek lunar mapping capability for Argonaut lander

According to SpaceNews, the European Space Agency will use existing lunar topographic data to guide the design of its Argonaut lunar lander, and may continue relying on those external maps for early missions. While ESA develops its own lunar mapping capability, the agency is drawing on established datasets to accelerate the critical design phase of its major lunar program.
