NDR 2026: Each Singaporean child to get almost S$70,000 in growing years as part of moves to support parents

Channel NewsAsia reports that every Singaporean child will receive almost seventy thousand Singapore dollars in support during their growing years, under a new package announced at the National Day Rally. The package gives the same level of support regardless of birth order, unlike the existing Baby Bonus Scheme. It's part of broader moves to support parents.
