Collaborative drawing offers new insights into how strangers become friends

Phys.org is reporting that a pair of ETH Zurich studies examined how brain activity shifts when strangers work together on drawing. The findings show that as participants grow closer, the similarity of their neural patterns does not simply rise. The researchers conclude that deepening friendship does not necessarily translate into matching brain rhythms.
