Tenured California professor fired over Gaza protest wins job back

According to The Guardian, a tenured professor fired last November for pro-Palestinian activism has won her job back. Sang Hea Kil, a justice studies professor at San José State University, was the first tenured faculty member dismissed from a US public university following the campus protests over Israel's war in Gaza. An arbitrator ruled that California State University violated the law and ordered her reinstatement. Now Kil is suing the university, alleging discriminatory and retaliatory attempts to silence her.
