According to MIT News, two faculty members have been named twenty twenty-six Pew Biomedical Scholars. Cell biologist Whitney Henry and immunologist Harikesh Wong will receive four years of flexible funding to advance their early-stage research. Henry's work focuses on ferroptosis, a form of programmed cell death, while Wong studies how immune cells make critical decisions. The prestigious Pew Scholars program recognizes and supports innovative research by early-career scientists.
