According to NPR News, the Supreme Court has ruled in a way that allows the Trump administration to effectively eliminate Temporary Protected Status—TPS—for hundreds of thousands of people. TPS enables nationals from countries affected by humanitarian crises or armed conflict to legally live and work in the United States. The ruling removes legal barriers the administration previously faced in stripping this protection.
