Despite ceasefire, Israeli strikes still kill in Gaza and the West Bank

Even with a ceasefire in place since October twenty twenty-five, France 24 reports the violence hasn't stopped. On August twenty-third, Israeli strikes killed several people in Gaza, and a young boy was killed by the Israeli military in the West Bank, according to local authorities. Since the truce was announced, more than one thousand two hundred eighty Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, while Israel says it has faced drones, balloons, and kites launched toward its territory.
