Routeup – stable local HTTPS URLs and opt-in public tunnels
dev_tools
A new open-source tool called Routeup allows developers to assign stable, trusted HTTPS URLs to their local applications instead of using standard localhost ports. As Lobsters reports, the tool provides a local-first identity with the option to selectively expose specific paths to the public via tunnels. Built as a single Go binary, Routeup is MIT licensed and supports both hosted public URLs and self-hosted servers.
