llm-anthropic 0.27

On Monday, Simon Willison's Weblog reported the release of version 0.27 of llm-anthropic, a tool for working with Anthropic's Claude models. The update adds compatibility with Anthropic's new 1.0 Python library, which switched its HTTP client from httpx to httpx2 — a change OpenAI also made in its own SDK two weeks ago. Willison says he used Claude Code with the Fable 5 model to perform the upgrade, following Anthropic's migration guide.
