Both Republican Dan Sullivans can compete in Alaska primary, court rules

According to the Guardian, Alaska's supreme court ruled that challenger Dan Sullivan can compete in the Republican primary—against Senator Dan Sullivan, both Republicans with the same name. The challenger had initially been removed from the ballot, but state courts found that decision unjustified. The supreme court has now sent election officials back to the drawing board: they must figure out how to list him on the ballot to avoid confusing voters, working within Alaska's existing ballot design law.
