entertainment

According to The Guardian, Hollywood director Carl Rinsch has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for wire fraud. The forty-seven Ronin director convinced Netflix he needed eleven million dollars to finish a science fiction series called White Horse. Instead, he diverted the money to his personal account and spent it on luxury goods—including six hundred thirty-eight thousand dollars on two mattresses. Rinsch was convicted in December; supporters including actor Keanu Reeves had asked the court for leniency.
