A federal court has found that the US-based dating site eHarmony used misleading subscription traps to deceive thousands of customers, per The Guardian (World). The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission sued the company in twenty twenty-three over how it presented free dating options and the costs associated with premium renewals. The court determined these practices cost many users hundreds of dollars each.
