Variety reports that Sony's 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' remained the number one film in the U.K. and Ireland for a fourth consecutive weekend, earning three point six million pounds, or four point eight million dollars, and bringing its total to one hundred seventeen point nine million dollars. Universal's 'The Odyssey,' directed by Christopher Nolan, held second place. The horror entry 'Insidious' also made a strong debut, per the trade.
