Around 40 injured after tornado tears through village in the south of France

France 24 reports that a tornado tore through the village of Pomas in southern France, injuring forty-one people and damaging about three hundred homes. The region was under thunderstorm alert. Scientists say climate change is leading to more frequent and intense extreme weather events.
