Brisbane protester removed from tree after 23 hours

According to ABC News Australia, a Brisbane woman spent twenty-three hours in a tree at Kurilpa Common before emergency services stepped in. The rescue required removing a power line to safely bring her down. The state-owned site has become a hub for urban gardening activism since the pandemic.
