Rare medieval manuscript fragments reveal Guernsey's lost literary history

Phys.org reports that seventeen medieval manuscript fragments have been identified in Guernsey with the assistance of Kent manuscript expert Dr. David Rundle. The pieces give an unprecedented glimpse into the island's literary and intellectual life during a period for which almost no evidence survives. Guernsey is a Crown dependency in the Channel Islands.
