SpaceX to build $100 billion rocket launch facility in southern Louisiana

Per France 24, SpaceX has unveiled plans for a one hundred billion dollar rocket launch complex in southern Louisiana, its largest facility yet. The proposed Starbase Louisiana site on Pecan Island spans one hundred twenty-five thousand acres and could eventually handle thousands of Starship launches annually, the company says. The complex is intended to support Starship and AI satellite missions. SpaceX, Elon Musk's rocket company, already operates launch sites in Texas and Florida.
