According to Channel NewsAsia, Indonesia's former education minister Nadiem Makarim—the founder of ride-sharing platform Gojek—has been found guilty of corruption. The conviction relates to the procurement of Chromebooks for schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in approximately one hundred twenty million dollars in losses to the state.
