LTA ramps up efforts against indiscriminate bicycle parking, more spaces planned at transport nodes

Singapore's Land Transport Authority is stepping up enforcement against bicycles blocking walkways at MRT stations. Since twenty twenty-three, authorities have issued more than thirty thousand advisory notices to address the persistent problem. To tackle it further, the LTA plans to add more bicycle parking spaces at transport nodes. According to Channel NewsAsia, the expansion aims to provide commuters proper places to park rather than having bikes clutter walkways and entrances.
