Indonesia baby trafficking trial: Prosecutors seek 5 to 10 years’ jail for 19 people on trial

According to Channel NewsAsia, Indonesian prosecutors are seeking five to ten years in prison for nineteen defendants accused of operating a baby trafficking ring. The defendants are charged with selling at least thirty-four infants between twenty twenty-two and twenty twenty-five. Some of the children were taken to Singapore and sold for thousands of dollars each. The trial is proceeding in Bandung.
