Digital Realty falls 5% after taking $3.5 billion stake in Blackstone's Virginia data centers

According to CNBC, data center operator Digital Realty announced Tuesday it's acquiring a three point five billion dollar stake in three Virginia data centers from asset manager Blackstone. While the move represents a major infrastructure expansion, markets gave the deal a cool reception — Digital Realty's stock fell five percent in premarket trading.
