Chris Martin’s lost James Bond theme goes on auction with unheard Coldplay tapes

According to The Guardian, Coldplay's Chris Martin recorded an unreleased song for the nineteen ninety-nine James Bond film The World Is Not Enough—but the track never made the final cut. That demo is now being auctioned alongside other rare early Coldplay recordings, including material the band made before their second E-P, The Blue Room, released in October nineteen ninety-nine. Producer Chris Allison is handling the sale. For Bond fans and Coldplay completists, it's a rare window into what almost was.
