Landgren argues that VCs should build stronger data infrastructure by connecting directly to financial systems, payment platforms, and accounting records. This would give investors clearer visibility into startups, help them spot overlooked opportunities, and ultimately make investment decisions both faster and more accurate. In other words: garbage data plus AI still equals garbage decisions.
