Qwen has released a new open weights model called Qwen three point eight Flash Next. As Simon Willison's Weblog describes it, the multimodal Mixture of Experts model serves as an early preview of the architecture that will be used in Qwen four. The model features one hundred twenty-five billion tokens with six billion active, which provides a significant performance boost.
