Police investigate death of teenage girl, 16, two days after alleged ‘sexual choking’ act in Sydney

Police are investigating the death of a sixteen-year-old girl in Sydney's northern beaches, The Guardian reports, after what a source described as a suspected sexual strangulation act. Emergency services were called to a home in Elanora Heights on Sunday evening in response to a welfare concern, and the girl died in hospital two days later on Tuesday night. The investigation is ongoing.
